Dr. Adibi has a strong academic background with a PhD degree in Communications and Information Systems from University of Waterloo, Canada, in 2010, a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Windsor, Canada, in 2005, a Master of Science degree in Data Communication Systems from Brunel University, UK, in 1999, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications and Electronics from Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran, in 1996.Dr. Adibi also has a strong industry background, having worked in leading and senior-level roles in major IT/telecommunications companies over the span of 15 years (1997-2012), including:
- Nortel Networks, Siemens Canada, Research In Motion (BlackBerry Provider), WiMAX Forum, Huawei Technologies, Canada, and Dubidot GmbH, formerly known as "InterACTIV Multimedia Production".
Dr. Adibi provides research collaborations and concultation services for research centers, government agencies, industry sectors and partners through contract and funding grant applications. Consultation may be provided to the following list of main expertise:
